  • With electrifying blues-rock guitars that bring to mind Eric Clapton’s “less simple, more technique” guitar playing methodology, Moon Walker’s “The Hollywood Machine” is a track to astound blues rock and hard rock fans alike.

    Jaylan Salah (Rock ERA Magazine)

  • These guys are unstoppable, I love the faded lyrics mixed with upfront and catchy vocals. This is probably their best single so far, and would attract any garage rock fan.

    John Cronin (Minimalistic Music)

  • This is one of the 4 new songs you need to listen to today!

    Eat This Rock

  • In “The Hollywood Machine”, the North American duo presents a Hard Rock with a strong 70s vibe, but with a dose of Alternative Rock here and there. It's one of those bands that will please both a fan of The White Stripes and a fan of Greta Van Fleet.

    Leandro Vianna (Roadie Metal)

  • No matter what song you choose to listen to first, it will get you hooked on Moon Walker. With the way the world is going today, they are a healthy addiction to have.

    Jaye Maverick (Rising Artists)

    Alessandro Iglesias (Roadie Music)

  • The Hollywood Machine offers a modern mixture of abrasive, raw, energetic rock. The number continuously leans between contemporary alternative rock and old-school garage rock, but you’ll also notice other beforementioned elements along the way. You will solely enjoy catchy basslines, hypnotic psychedelic solos, and retro-sounding drumming performance. Moon Walker once again proved they’re creative musicians who know how to blend modern and retro rock elements all together into a colossal slab of harmonious noise.

    Thoughts Words Action

  • A musically eclectic band, Moon Walker never fails to impress with their versatility and youthful push at the wrongs of the world. Showing absolutely no signs of slowing down, they are have been releasing sonically diverse tracks and a rather epic album.

    The Other Side Reviews

  • "The Hollywood Machine", the latest single from L.A.-based band Moon Walker, is a funky and anthemic indie-rock tune that boasts powerful vocal work and an impressive instrumental.

    Tape Ranger

  • Continuing on from their 2021 triumph of an album, Truth to Power, the boys’ latest single is suitably bluesy and groovy. Titled “The Hollywood Machine”, it opens with a strong guitar riff and steady beat before building into the intense verse. Lead singer, Harry Springer, has a beautifully husky voice that carries the rock feel so well. This is certainly a group to watch, if their debut releases are anything to go by, they’ve set the bar high but their unmatched energy will carry them far.

    Sophie (Plastic Mag)

  • There are no two ways around it, Moon Walker are not here to play nice. “Doombox” is not an olive branch, it’s a bundle of briars. You will not escape this tune unscathed.

    Travis Boyer (POPFAD)

  • When so many people have bought into fear and intimidation tactics and narratives becoming an element of comfort zone in our society, combining an impressive act with the vintage rock spirit and aesthetic of the ’70s. Blending with a modern approach, Moon Walker is a necessary band to the music scene debuting in extreme style.

  • The raw junkyard garage rock energy is strong with Moon Walker’s “Doombox”. A gleeful trip into calamity, the song’s jagged edges work wonders. Lyrics cut to the heart of the matter, the apocalyptic tone of the word choice aptly depicting this very moment in the world.

    Colm Slattery (Fruit Sonic)

  • Hard hitting is the name of the game for Moon Walker, and you already know that if you’ve read past reviews of them from me. This is honestly my favorite song I’ve heard from Harry and Sean, and I want to encourage them to continue to be creative and bad a$$.

    John Cronin (Minimalistic Music)

  • This is pure attitude that got our heads nodding in time straight away. In just the same way as they did when we first listened to Rage Against The Machine way back in the 90s. Maybe it was the chorus line, or maybe it was the fuzz effect on the bass, but either way, this is clearly a modern take on that nu metal style that I fell in love with when I was just a little younger.

    Send Me Your Ears

  • Their latest track, Doombox, is no exception to the Moon Walker sound. With Bowieesque spacey noises to tag along to the Jimmy Page-like guitar riffs, the track goes hard. The drums have a rather interesting groove that keeps the tempo of the track while also guiding it. Springer’s vocals are unmatched in how dynamic and clear they are. I don’t think I’ve heard a voice like this in rock since Roger Daltrey of The Who. The track really grinds it out with the most gritty textures while also keeping things clear for the listener.

    Rohaan Palaparthy (Sinusoidal Music)

  • Los Angeles-based duo Moon Walker have released the magnificent single ‘Doombox’ today, 25th February 2022. Instantly catchy and superbly produced, it is a single that sets MoonWalker as a band to watch in 2022. It is a fun and addictive single that will have you reaching for the repeat button!

  • After a critically acclaimed full-length release, Los Angeles garage rock duo Moon Walker returns with a new single. It is a proper continuation to their album Truth To Power, which gathered a lot of positive critics from the broader auditorium. Doombox is their sixth song in a row from the series of singles launched in 2021 and the first release this year. Moon Walker walks an already established path based upon several subgenres of rock music. At this particular composition, you’ll stumble upon catchy rock’n’roll, garage rock, hard rock, and indie rock, but you may also find out some other elements included along the way.

Elio Sant'Anna Pedrozo Campos (Os Garotos De Liverpool)

  • Enticing us to “turn that mother***er up” (which we did!), alternative rockers Moon Walker have just unveiled their latest release, Doombox along with music video with wicked performances, demonstrating acting chops and great set design from the band. Doombox is catchy and possessing, featuring thrashing guitars and super intricate drums with memorable vocal delivery. Harry Springer is the frontman and lead guitarist of Moon Walker, and Sean McCarthy is the drummer. The duo showcase their comedic sense in the video which is filled with clever ideas, costumes and stunts.

    Karl Is My Uncle

  • “Doombox” is the newest release by the political rock group Moon Walker. Known for its powerful lyrics and unforgettable grooves, this new release is no exception. Fed-up and tired with all the shit going on around them, Moon Walker brings unmatched energy. Released alongside a music video that captures the frustration and energy of the band phenomenally. A cool release from a band that you’re going to be hearing more of in the future.

    Tyler Roberts (Rising Artists)

  • Not ones to shy away from what they believe in, you can expect their tracks to pack a punch, tackling issues from media sensationalism and economic inequality to social responsibility. No strangers to the industry, Harry and Sean previously formed ‘The Midnight Club’ in high school, a band that would later go on to support the likes of The Killers, Cage The Elephant and Young The Giant. After parting ways during the pandemic Moon Walker was formed. With their latest album ‘The Attack of Mirrors’ due later this year, and with a hell of a lot more to say, this won’t be the last you hear from the Denver Rock band, they’ll make sure of that!

    Sam Jones (Music Crowns)

  • Doombox carries flawlessly executed rock’n’roll riffs drenched in a decent amount of fuzz distortion. However, Moon Walker left enough room for melodies, harmonies, and other more ear-appealing elements to breathe throughout the entire song. This particular style of rock’n’roll music applies to both old and new fans of the genre. Therefore, Doombox will appeal to even the pickiest admirers of rock’n’roll music.

    Punk-Rocker

  • It's hard to find any flaws in Moon Walker's music. At least, I haven't found any yet

    Edgar Allan Poets

  • Brooklyn alt-rock visionary Moon Walker brandishes an explosive sound and idiosyncratic vision that has led to the release of new music video and single, “The Price of Life Itself.”

    Evan Pratt (Music Mecca)

  • The Attack of Mirrors review "As a whole, Moon Walker’s The Attack of Mirrors embodies the perfect juxtaposition between raw lyricism, coupled with high- intensity rock that creates a distinct sound all his own. Listeners are immersed in a battle between autonomy and authority."

    Anissa Sanchez (EUPHORIA.)

  • The Attack of Mirrors review written in Spanish translated, "..not only emanates from the counterculture, but feeds on it and infects others from it. It's a creature imbued with the original ideology of rock, giving us something to ponder to the beat of distortions, synths, ripping strings" "it even goes beyond taking sounds and styles typical of a rock era, it is about bringing with it the essence of that genre that was considered dangerous for telling uncomfortable truths. It is the kind of music that goes beyond being an object of entertainment."

    Areli Segura (IndieRocks)

  • "The Attack Of Mirrors is the follow up to album the rather successful LP Truth to Power where the alt rocker began turning heads for his 70s rock meets modern day alternative rock style."

    Alex Pearson (Indie Central Music)

  • "Moon Walker’s output on this album is the better parts of pop, alternative rock, and classic rock mixed together to create something special that’s truly mesmerizing. The music is deep, hooky, and catchy as hell. The Attack Of Mirrors should end up on every rock writer’s end of 2022 “Best Of” list without a doubt."

    Theron Moore (New Noise Magazine)

  • "‘The Attack Of The Mirrors...– his sound and presentation an aesthetic blend of diverse acts like Wild Cherry, The Talking Heads, The Mars Volta, Micky James, The Doors and The White Stripes, as evidenced by singles like “The Price Of Life Itself” and “I’m Afraid I’ll Go To Heaven.”

Nicholas Jason Lopez (The Music Bugle)

  • "His new single, “The Price of Life Itself,” touches on racial injustice and institutional failures within the foundations of American society."

    Evan Pratt (Music Mecca)

  • "With reverberated vocals, electric guitar, and gritty lyrics, the new track sheds light on injustices in American society. Moon Walker, also known as Harry Springer, wrote the track in the midst of the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020 after seeing first-hand the militarized response to a peaceful protest."

    Abigail Baughan (NYS Music)

  • "The latest single from The Attack of Mirrors, “I’m Afraid I’ll Go To Heaven,” combines a 2010s blues rock ethos with deeply heavy ’70s sensibilities."

    Aleah Antonio (The Luna Collective)

  • "I'm Afraid I'll Go To Heaven is a dark, heavy, synth-pop perfection that tackles the current political landscape with a dose of sarcasm, with lyrics being "a biting commentary on religion as it pertains to our modern political system".

    Chris Roditis (Music N Gear)
